If paper data is to be transmitted, this is done through sealed, addressed envelopes or boxes by reputable companies.
Electronic data is transmitted through direct line or is anonymized and encrypted.
Electronic hardware is kept secure in restricted area.
All IT equipment and mobiles are password protected.
All IT equipment has virus and malware protection.
Staff are trained in the use, disclosure and disposal of personal data.

DATA INFORMATION RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION.

Retention of information (7 years for adults, 20 years for children) is guided by requirements related to professional regulations and law and per our data retention policy and data processing register.
We destroy paper information by shredding.
We destroy electronic information by deleting.
When hardware is redundant we ensure that the hard drive is physically destroyed.

OBTAINING ACCESS AND CORRECTING YOU DATA INFORMATION.
